WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The battle over U.S. Supreme Court nominee Sonia Sotomayor began to take shape on Wednesday as liberal supporters pelevated her as an independent legal thinker and conservatives argued she likely would rule based on her emotions rather than established precedent.
