Nortel CEO says feds refused help for crippled high-tech giant

OTTAWA – The federal government turned down Nortel Networks Corp., (TSX:NT), when it asked for help to stave off bankruptcy, the fallen technology giant’s CEO told members of Parliament on Thursday.
